At Sandland Brygge the safety of our guests is paramount and we supply only the very best boats, engines and ancillary equipment available.
From 2020 all boats at Sandland are the tried and tested aluminium 23’ Wildeboat 650 or 25’ Wildeboat 750 boats built locally at Bergsfjord on the opposite side of the fjord from Sandland.
“Silda” is the first Wildeboat built by Cornelis de Wilde in Bergsfjord in collaboration with Steinar Halvorsen, owner of Sandland Brygge AS. 25’ long and 10’ wide fitted with a monstrous Suzuki 200hp engine and fitted with a Lowrance Elite 7” sounder/plotter, she is licensed and insured for up to six crew.
Silda is only available with our bungalow “Blue House” as a package.
Built locally to our specifications and are superb sea boats. From 2020 there is nine of these boats licensed and insured for up to 4 crew, 23’ long and 9’ wide in aluminium they are fitted with either an Evinrude G2 Etec 150hp or Suzuki 150hp four stroke engines, these boats are quick and economical; they’re fitted with a central island wheelhouse, enabling you to walk around the boat without getting in the way of your fellow anglers. These boats are fitted with an easy to use 7” Humminbird sounder/GPS plotter.
Each boat is equipped with plenty of rod holders and seating for all crew, life jackets are supplied for each guest and must be worn at sea at all times unless the angler is wearing a proper approved floatation or survival suit.
All boats are fitted with a state of the art AIS tracking system which enables the staff at Sandland Brygge to track your position at all times.
Floatation suits are available to hire for a fee of 600kr per week.
Rod hire is 620kr per week
To save you carrying a lot of tackle and lures we have a small tackle shop on site selling the best lures for the area, alternatively a bucket with the most appropriate lures for use in the Sandland area for cod and halibut can be hired for a small fee from the office for your week, you pay to replace any lures lost during your stay.
